At the heart of LOVE Has Hands Foundation are our volunteers, on whom our organization
depends. Our volunteers represent numerous backgrounds, including students, nurses,
doctors, musicians, young professionals, teachers, entrepreneurs and retirees, among many
others. From preparing donations of success packages and wrapping gifts and care packages
to administrative tasks, conducting workshops and lending professional expertise to our
various departments, volunteers provide valuable support to LOVE Has Hands and are
utilized according to their sweet spots and interests. Our volunteers help us meet a world of
need.
Serve in one of our upcoming visits (virtual or physical) below. You can volunteer as an
individual or as a group.

Group Volunteer Opportunities:  We need groups of volunteers to help sort, write inspiring
notes and prepare success packages for our Success Clinics to homes, communities, our
camps or others. Groups of less than 20 people are ideal; we may accommodate a more
extensive group. We ask that all student groups be high school age or older (Ages 12 and
above).
Youth Volunteer Advisors: We need 5,000 youths between the ages of 12 and 35 to register
with us and be available to assist with our programme of ‘Youth reaching and helping
Youths’ and our Youths Against Violence Partnership.

Individual Volunteer Opportunities: listed below in order of priority with time
commitment and schedule dependent on role.

Professional Volunteers: We need teachers, nutritionist, bankers, financial advisors,
doctors, counsellors, career planners, chefs, nurses, and other professional personnel
to be the first line of quality assurance. Experienced experts will be involved in the
pre-assessment, facilitating the ‘Success Workshops,’ mentoring or the conduct post-
assessments. This area will provide a tremendous educational experience for those
aspiring to the social work field. We ask volunteers to commit to serving three
hours/month.

Skilled & Vocational Leaders: We need beauticians, barbers, and child
care personnel to offer their respective services. Previous volunteer experience is not
required but is helpful. Leaders must complete a training session, and we ask for a
commitment of about one event at 3 hours/month. 

Promotion & Networking: We need networking persons to identify those who could
use our services and point them to us and vice versa. This team is very acquainted
with our services, products, resources, so they can recommend and rescue those who
need to be pointed in the right direction to find the help and assistance they need. We
ask that Networkers commit to serving 3 hours/month.

Administrative Volunteers: We need specialized knowledge in planning and
coordinating, and preparing schedules, and organizing meetings. Various shifts are
available Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and we ask for a commitment of at least
3 hours/month.

Music & Art Therapists: We need volunteers to conduct music and art workshops
geared towards calming the recipients or providing a safe place to vent. It may require
some physical labor. Various shifts are available Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
and we ask that you commit to serving at least 3 hours/month.

Success Package Volunteers: Help train others how to effectively use their Success
Package to get the best results personally, professionally and spiritually. Various
shifts are available Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and we ask for a commitment
of at least 3 hours/month.

Office Volunteers: Manage our front desk, greeting guests, answering phones, and
helping with administrative projects. Various shifts are available Monday – Friday, 9
a.m. to 5 p.m., and we ask for a commitment of at least 2 hours/week.

Our hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. We expect our volunteers
to make their shoulders available for a candidate to lean or cry. Scheduling groups in
the evenings, weekends or special events are quite possible.
